PS English Tweets – イギリス英語とアメリカ英語の違い ~単語編~
ピーター校長がPS EnglishのTwitterをジャックしてから早1ヶ月以上経ちました。10月は特にイギリスとアメリカ英単語の違いについてツイートしていました。その中から特に反応の良かったもの、お菓子編、野菜編、洋服編、日常英会話編についてまとめていきます。
【お菓子編】

| ルッコラ | rocket | arugula |
| ビーツ | Beetroot | Beets |
Courgette、Aubergine、coriander、roquetteはフランス語が語源です。Cilantroはスペイン語からきています。

イギリスで 「列に並んでいますか？」と聞きたいときは、
Are you in the queue? (米: Are you in line? )
と尋ねてみましょう。
