意味：つながる、連絡する （手短にというニュアンス）

意味：事前に練られた戦略
例：“Our team needs to develop a game plan for growing our social media presence this year.”
3) Drop the ball
由来：スポーツ全般
意味：しくじる、失敗する
例：“He really dropped the ball when he forgot to get final approval by the submission deadline date.”
4) Up to par
由来：ゴルフ
意味：水準に達する
例：“The client did not think the proposal our team put together was up to par, so we had to make a lot of changes.”
5) Blindsided
由来：サッカー
意味：不意打ちを食らう、不意を突かれる
例：“The boss was blindsided when the London branch manager accepted a job at another company with no notice, right before the busiest quarter of the year.”

意味：目標通り、
例：“We are on target to meet our budget for this month.”

意味：あなた次第です、あなたが決める番です
例：“We have just received an order from our new client. The ball is now in our court to ask for more money or accept it.”
8) to keep your eye on the ball

意味：油断しない、注意を怠らない
